Pleated polypropylene filter cartridges are made from polypropylene filter media using a hot-melt entanglement process. The fibers create a three-dimensional microporous structure, offering high filtration efficiency. These cartridges are produced in a clean using hot-melt welding for the cage, core & end caps—ensuring zero leakage. These are also known as surface filters designed to trap contaminants on the surface, preventing them from passing through. Due to pleated design, this filter supports high flow rate & dirt holding capacity by maximizing surface area. With a large surface area due to pleating, they efficiently capture more sediment while maintaining a high flow rate. These filters support both nominal and absolute filtration, making them ideal for critical processes requiring sterile or high-purity.
